Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Verifick.com and its products, Verifick Extreme and Verifick Plagi Check (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Theorex Consulting, 103 Arambagh (Level 02), Motijheel, Dhaka – 1000, Bangladesh. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

• You may register using email and password, or via Google sign-in. An administrator may also create an account for you; you then set your own password using a secure link.
• You must use a permanent email address of your own. Temporary or disposable email services are not accepted.
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Credits, words, and payment

• Verifick Extreme is billed per report credit; Verifick Plagi Check is billed by word count via fixed packages. The total shown when you top up is the amount you pay.
• Payment is accepted via mobile financial services (Send Money to our published personal number). A credit or word top-up is added to your account only after manual review and approval of your submitted transaction ID — this is not instantaneous.
• Credits and word balances expire 30 days after being granted, regardless of source (signup bonus, purchase, or admin adjustment), unless we set a different expiry date on your account. The expiry date is shown in your dashboard.
• Credits and word balances are non-transferable between accounts and are not redeemable for cash.
• A credit or word charge is refunded to your balance if you delete a document before it has finished processing, or if the check fails. Once a report has been generated and delivered, the charge is not refunded.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to upload content you don't have the right to submit, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, to create accounts with false, temporary or disposable email addresses, to work around a block, or to use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may block an email address, and suspend or terminate the account, of anyone who violates this section. A blocked email address can't sign in, sign up again or use the Service.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to documents you upload. By submitting a document, you grant Verifick — and, where applicable, the third-party detection services described in our Privacy Policy — the limited right to process that document solely to generate your report.

Uploaded documents and generated report files are deleted automatically 48 hours after your report is ready. You are responsible for downloading your report before then.

5. Reports and their limits

Detection scores produced by the Service are probabilistic signals based on textual similarity to indexed sources at the time of analysis. They are one input for human review — not a final determination of academic or professional misconduct, and not a guarantee of accuracy. You are responsible for how you use or act on a Verifick report.

Verifick Plagi Check scans open-web content only: publicly indexed, freely accessible content on the live web. It does not access institutional repositories, subscription journals, paywalled archives, private databases, or unpublished student libraries, so material that is not widely visible on the open internet may be missed. Its results may differ from enterprise-focused platforms such as Turnitin and are not a cross-institutional guarantee.

6. Service availability

Verifick Extreme and Verifick Plagi Check depend in part on third-party detection engines that are outside our direct control. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for delays or failures caused by a third-party service being unavailable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verifick is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made on the basis of a detection report.

8. Termination and blocking

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend, block or terminate an account for violation of these Terms. Reports and account data associated with a deleted account are permanently removed, except that a blocked email address stays on our block list so the block can't be avoided.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
